As a little girl at the age of 15, unaware of subtle social injustice, I used to encounter hundreds of unprivileged individuals around me. But now that I have grown more socially aware, I decided to use my own capacity to help those being suppressed by stereotypes and unable to voice their opinions. As a shark who is still striving to intertwine toughness within compassion, I am striving to grow more determined, as well as cultivate empathy within my souls, with the hope of helping vulnerable groups worldwide. Although my contribution is still insignificant when compared to the general problems societies may face, I believe that my effort will one day be paid off.
