My friends usually wonder why I chose shark as the mascot for my first economically-based initiative. At first, my intention was very simple: I was given a plush shark as a birthday gift from a special person, and a shark appearing on my debut would be a tangible thank-you. Nevertheless, as I grew older, I gradually realized economics resembles this animal in the most accidental and meaningful way - unfriendly on the outside yet approachable and impactful when looked carefully. I now believe that economics can be explored in a creative way, and it can be used as a tool to narrow social differentiation and insidious injustice. I hope my serious interest can contribute to the elimination of inequality among disadvantaged groups and the overall thriving.
